The 11th Annual Bridgeport Citywide Yard Sale is happening Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM! Whether you're searching for hidden treasures, household bargains, furniture, toys, clothing, or collectibles, there's something for everyone throughout Bridgeport.

Please help make this a safe and enjoyable event for everyone:
• Do not park in or block private driveways, especially at homes not participating in the sale.
• Stay off private lawns and respect residents' property.
• Be mindful of increased pedestrian and vehicle traffic throughout the city. The Bridgeport Police Department will be monitoring neighborhoods to help keep everyone safe.

Be Crash Free - E-Bike Training Courses
The City of Bridgeport Police Department has partnered with Be Crash Free to provide the Ride Smart: E-Bike Safety Essentials online course. This free program is available to all Bridgeport residents, and is offered in both youth and adult versions. The youth course is designed for parents to go through with their young riders, while the adult course is for riders 16 years of age and older.
Whether you're new to e-bikes or an experienced rider, the course provides valuable information on safe riding practices, proper e-bike operation, navigating traffic, understanding roadway rules, and building the skills needed to ride confidently and responsibly.
The Bridgeport Police Department is committed to promoting safety for everyone who travels on our roadways and we encourage everyone to take advantage of these courses. By offering this educational opportunity, the department hopes to help riders of all ages make informed decisions, reduce crashes, and enjoy e-bikes safely throughout our community.
